IT'S GREEN,AND SUSTAINABLE, WHY NOT TELEDENTISTRY?
During Covid there was a move to give advice over the phone. AAA , Advice, Analgeasics, and antibiotics. While billions was spent on getting covid under control, nothing has been invested in what was the better outcome for the patient. It would be interesting to see if if those who underwent treatment had better outcomes than those who still have been unable to access care.🤔

A PROBLEM IN DELIVERING HEALTHCARE
This highlights the challenges in dentistry, which are similar to other professions often regulated by career experts with limited practical experience. The situation is exacerbated by middle management lacking a strong understanding of health. When the system fails, we should focus on changing the system rather than punishing stressed individuals. EQUIPMENT SET UP
Please note that this video is about four years old. I had my scanner for minimally invasive and traditional dentistry since 2009. In the United States, 65% of dentists use scanners, while in the UK, this figure is less than 10%. As previously mentioned, our General Dental Council (GDC) is outdated and out of touch. It fails to adequately protect both the public and the profession. Reforms are necessary to address these shortcomings. |

SAVE TIME & MONEY
This five-minute video is one of ten suggestions on how we can improve dental health services. For more content, type 'DHS' in the YouTube channel to explore other aspects, including shorter videos on teledentistry. Teledentistry is a green and sustainable option—something the government supports, but unfortunately, there is no funding available for trials. I was asked to pursue this initiative without any financial backing. Would you like to help? |
