MEMBERSHIP is the concept of improving your health as well as the people you care for. Everytime we get on a planes the message is, in case of emergency, put on your oxygen mask first. There is a lot to learn from the aviation industry, and we are all familiar with the BLACK BOX. There are less accidents, as the industry has a no blame policy, and the airline community share their knowledge for everyones safely. We should do the same.
We can all help improve the NHS. Our oral health is linked to our general health. There is a two minute video on the teeth4life App. Please look at it, and share it with others. It also shows you how to check yourself for oral cancer, the sixth most common form of cancer, with the poorest outcome. As in all cancer early diagnosis saves lives. If people trust you, then they may follow your advice. You don't need to know how to cure the cancer, just use your influence to help others improve their health screening. There are a series of videos all about 20 minutes long, made for your smartphone wheret you can use to update your knowledge, and record the update for your own records

CLEANING AND DUPLICATING DENTURES
The government estimate 14,000 dentures are lost every year in the hospital and care home environment. Making new dentures for the elderly, and especially those living with dementia is extremely unrewarding for the resident, and the dentist. If we can get a copy of the denture before they lose it, then a replacement can be provided within a few days.
There are many permutations.
Their current denture, is similar to both the prescription you have for replacement glasses.
We can teach you how to do this.
It takes 4 weeks to teach someone to take blood. To learn how to scan a denture will be a days course.

The cost of cameras that specifically take pictures of the mouth have come down considerably. They are now less than 10% of the amount I paid over 15 years ago. If you can use a toothbrush in someones mouth, you can take a picture, and you can send is to be assesed.

In dentistry for childcare there is a technique for restoring teeth on the basis of a retired dentist, who did a procedure incorrectly. Now her procedure it taught in every uk dental school. We lean by our mistakes, eventually.
