We can direct care workers and home carers to more appropriate videos when they become available. Currently, these are the best I've found. 

This video was produced by the Aneuran Bevan Health Board some years ago and gives good general advice if you work as a career, or find yourself you have gradually become a carer yourself. Click on large image for full video.

This Australian link is useful for home care, as with all the videos, it has the background for valuable tips on reasons for negative behaviour as well as coping strategies. There is excellent insight and advice. It also demonstrates why we need to have good oral hygiene technique throughout life, as you retain that innate muscle memory.

This American link in parts gives a demonstration on how to clean teeth without traumatising yourself. The American obsession with dental floss may be less of a concern, it may be safer to use an interspace head on a Braun electric brush and possible a Philips Airfloss.

This is course is being developed in Wales using more recent video resources and with certification.
It was developed during the pandemic, and is in "bite Size" sections. Probably the best current resource available. You can get certification with some multiple choice questions with a nominal fee.
