GENERAL DENTAL ADVICE
Everyone has heard of dental implants, and this is an excellent example. This implant procedure will have required this patient to wear a temporary denture and receive a few hours of treatment over a few months.
The implant will have cost around £2500, the adjacent natural tooth nothing. Maintaining the implant will be more difficult and expensive than natural teeth.
It will not "age", and more likely to fail than a natural tooth. After 30 years in practice and the considerable advances in restorative dentistry, my opinion is nothing lasts longer than your own teeth.
