Like many dentists, I built my practice around prevention within the NHS. Over time that grew harder to maintain, and I chose to retire early. My first YouTube video almost cost me my job with the practice I’d sold to — but I’m still committed to sharing these ideas. Visit my Teeth4Life channel and search “DHS” to explore them. I’ve applied for funding for mouth-cancer screening, 3D dentures and a prevention-based dental app — all linking together to create a DHSS: a Dental Health Screening Service.

I’m going to build a teledentistry platform, and I’ll need some interested people to help. Just like dental scanning, there’s little legislation yet covering this new technology. You’ll be able to promote your service through the future Dental Health Service website and app.
